Project Duration
- Total Project Period: May 2025~February 2030 (5 years)
- Initial 3 years (May 2025~February 2028) + Extension of 2 years (March 2028~February 2030) - Universities ranked within the top 70% based on the interim evaluation in the 3rd year will be granted a 2-year extension.
- 1st Year Project Period: May 2025~February 2026 (10 months)
Project Details
- In 2025, four major projects comprising 11 unit programs will be announced, selected, and supported. Refer to the Seoul RISE Center for the official Seoul RISE Project announcement.
- Each university will establish autonomous goals and implementation plans that align with the Seoul RISE Project and unit programs, reflecting their unique conditions and strengths.
- Six existing Ministry of Education university support programs (covering 28 universities with a total budget of approximately 79 billion KRW) will be transferred to the Seoul RISE Center and integrated into project operations.
